Members Evening

Thanks to all who came along to our Members Evening this past Saturday. We had a record turnout, and the comments and thanks we have received since I think shows how much you all enjoyed the night!

The evening started with the annual "Welcome" from Centre owner, David Mills, bringing you all up to date with the comings and goings and what plans we have for the future. Then you were left to wander in the gorgeous evening light, with of course a couple of extra talks put on for you to go to if you so wished.

First up we brought out an old favourite, and repeated our harvest mice talk which offers unique photo opportunities too. Always popular, and this year was no exception.

Our second talk of the evening was on pine martens, and in particular the conservation efforts happening this year to help these endangered mammals.

Drogo was a real star, and think he will become a firm favourite with many of you over the summer as he only gets bolder coming out in front of large groups.

In between the talks we had extra feed sessions so you could see your favourites, before finishing the evening at 8pm.

Thank you once again for coming, and for your support through out the past year. It really does mean a lot to us.

Lots of animal news to catch up on, remember all those babies I mentioned a week or so ago? Well I will get to them all, but first up later this week I need to announce our Photo of the Month for June... I think you are going to love it... and a little research project we are helping out with.
